I met John in 1987. During our first Autumn together he told me about a dream. He had always dreamt about celebrating New Year Eve up in the forest with a view over Kirkenær. I liked his dream and we decided to celebrate our first New Year Eve together just two of us and my dog close to a fire in the forest and look out on the view to Kirkenær. We went to the forest after eating our dinner. We had to walk in the snow but it was worth it! It was a marvellous night. 

Two friends of us thougt this was a good idea to celebrate New Year Eve in this way. We was at the same place together with them the next two years and we did it all the same way.

These three New Years Eves are the best ones I've ever had, and the best one of them all was the first year with only John, me and my dog alone in the forest. This is one of my best memoires :o)

This year John, I and our kids want to stay at home and be together just four of us. We will eat turkey at New Year's Eve and all of us love it :o)

I think it's nice to stay at home at New Year's Eve. We live in a housing estate and we have a dog called Argo. It's not nice to let a dog stay alone at home when the fireworks start.
